Cosa? Disegnare la moda! Ho conosciuto una ragazza dal talento davvero unico si chiama Sara Merli e nel 2008 ha fondato Trashit, azienda che si occupa di personalizzazione dell’abbigliamento. Dopo gli studi allo IED di Milano in Sara comincia a prendere strada l’idea di dipingere delle magliette con pennelli per tessuto per creare qualcosa di unico che avesse come focus il “movimento”. Mi incuriosiva molto il nome che Sara ha voluto dare alla sua arte e la risposta non poteva che essere attenta e arguta :”Trashit nasce da due concetti: il primo è l’amore per l’ambiente e l’attenzione per il riciclaggio; il secondo è l’antitesi fra l’amore e odio nei confronti di tutto ciò che è trash (programmi televisivi, moda, colori, materiali). L’ispirazione Sara la prende da tutto ciò che la circonda in primis dalla strada ma anche la moda, l’arte, il design. Le ho chiesto “Cosa vorresti che fosse più semplice per chi, come te, vuole intraprendere questa professione” e lei mi ha risposto ” Secondo me il problema principale è trovare dei fondi per produrre e pubblicizzare il proprio lavoro”, niente di più vero!
La prossima mossa di Sara sarà quella di farsi conoscere il più possibile fino a riuscire a realizzare il suo sogno: aprire un negozio con le sue creazioni! Sara è una bellissima persona e spero che attraverso questo piccolo blog lei possa trovare tante persone in più disposte ad aiutarla ad emergere!
